Wilson, Cribbs & Goren's bankruptcy practitioners have capabilities in all areas of bankruptcy law and business reorganization. Ferdinand P. Cribbs, Jr. is Board Certified in Business Bankruptcy Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Our bankruptcy practice focuses on the representation of secured creditors, primarily lending institutions. Much of this practice relates to real estate bankruptcies, where one of our clients is one of the largest secured creditors, and includes both personal and commercial bankruptcies.

We also represent select debtors (generally high income individuals and real estate related entities) in Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcies, but it does not accept representation of individuals in Chapter 13 bankruptcies. This section also has substantial expertise in representation of borrowers in non-bankruptcy financial restructurings with creditors.
